Food and Fellowship
The committee organizes food and fellowship following Meeting
for Worship during the summer season, or at the rise of First Day School,
September through June. Members and attenders are encouraged to volunteer to
provide healthy snacks, prepare coffee, tea or other light beverages, and clean
up afterwards.
A sign-up sheet is kept on a clipboard on the bulletin board in the community room showing which committees or individuals are responsible.

Friendly Eights Dinners
Friendly Eights Dinners bring members and attenders together so that
they may become better acquainted. The host of the month welcomes
six others to a potluck dinner at his/her home. Conversations are not
limited to religious topics. The number of dinners held per year vary according
to those who are willing to host. The contact person is Bart
Sacks.
Poetry and
Prose Night
Members, attenders and friends are invited to read poetry and prose, which
has added meaning to their lives. They may have pieces that they themselves
have written, or are from favorite authors. Poetry and Prose Night has
been typically held on a Saturday evening in the month of January. The contact
person is David Himmer.
The Christmas Tea
The tea is held at 6 pm on the Sunday before Christmas with a finger foods pot
luck, beverages furnished by the committee.
Visitors' Information Events
The committee assists in conducting an occasional Visitor’s Day or Open House
for those new to Quakerism. Guests are always welcome to attend Gwynedd Meeting,
but at this time special programs are included for those unfamiliar with Quaker
practice.
Guest Book Responses
The Fellowship and Outreach committee sends a welcoming note to visitors
who sign the Meetinghouse guest book, asking if they would like further
contact and if they wish to receive the Meeting newsletter either by mail
or email.
Kitchen Inventory
The committee keeps the meetinghouse kitchen stocked with basic items and assists
other committees with hospitality when called upon.
