Religious Education
Friends regard spiritual growth as an essential component of sound education.
The purpose of Religious Education is to develop the Divine Spark, that inward light, that enables individuals to know God's will and to experience true joy in this knowledge.
To fulfill this purpose, the Religious Education Committee develops, promotes and oversees programs for all participants in Gwynedd Meeting. While specific activities may focus on youth, adults or an intergenerational mix, our outreach is designed to radiate throughout the community.
Youth Quaker Education
Our Youth Quaker Education, or YQE, programs offer children a fun and enriching spiritual experience. Through a diverse and relevant curriculum with engaging activities, our children are able to explore their spiritual thoughts and ideas in a warm and safe environment.
Our Adult Quaker Education, or AQE, offers diverse programs including speakers, videos, discussions, and spiritual sharing.
Service Projects and Intergenerational Events
Service projects and intergenerational activities provide an opportunity for all ages to relax, have fun and grow spiritually together. These exciting experiences have included:
