Opportunity Available  - Youth Program Coordinator 

Do you enjoy supporting the spiritual development of our Quaker youth? Do you feel led to work more closely with Gwynedd Friends youth?  

Gwynedd Friends Meeting is seeking to hire a half-time Youth Program Coordinator to oversee the Youth Quaker Education (YQE) program in our engaged and lively Meeting community. The coordinator oversees Sunday classes, service projects, Junior Meeting for Worship, and special events. A caring and dedicated team of YQE teachers and childcare providers report to the coordinator and assist in making our YQE program enriching, fun, and engaging for our children and families. The Youth Program Coordinator communicates regularly with families about the Youth Program and, together with the Religious Education Committee, helps to plan intergenerational community events that engage our broader community with YQE. The Youth Program Coordinator is supported by the Religious Education Committee, which meets regularly to plan for the ongoing success of the YQE program. The Youth Program Coordinator is an Exempt position that receives a fixed annual salary. Time is flexible throughout the year as duties and activities require, with approximately 20 hours per week expected from mid-August through the third Sunday in June.
