Special Holiday Sale - Saturday - December 6th - 9 to 1pmFF flyer small

Friendly Finds sale, formerly AFSC Flea Market continues to donate all profits to the American Friends Service Committee (AFSC)*.
Future Friendly Finds sales in 2026 are March 7th, May 30th and December 5th, the largest sale of the year.

Many hands are needed to continue the Friendly Finds Sale.  Everyone who wishes to participate in the work of Friendly Finds Sale is welcome. Please join us in this meaningful work. Extra Friendly Finds Volunteer days are posted on the Gwynedd Meeting calendar. Volunteers are
always needed on Sale weekend from Friday afternoon to set up, through Saturday afternoon for clean-up.  It's helpful to let Chris know if you are planning to help. Email: Chris Mrozinski

Friendly Finds Donation Guidelines - please drop off prior to the week of the sale:
  • Gently used men and women’s clothing
  • Jewelry in usable condition
  • Household items in safe, workable condition
  • Cookbooks
  • Coffee Table Books for December sale only
Drop off Fresh baked goods on Friday or early Saturday on day of sale (please label if containing or processed with nuts, or if Gluten Free)

We need and appreciate your very generous contributions!
Note: Because of the amount of work necessary to prepare for the sales, we can’t accept items on the Friday before, or the Saturday of the sale except baked goods. Please contact Chris Mrozinski in advance with information about items if needed to bring late. Also, contact Chris if it is necessary for him to pick up items or with any other questions.

We thought it would also help you to provide a list of items NOT to contribute.

Our customers are choosey about their purchases. To avoid wasting volunteer hours on sorting through and disposing of things that experience tells us will not sell:

Please do NOT contribute:
  • Mattresses or bed frames
  • Clothing or linens pilled, torn, faded or have holes or odor
  • Cassettes and VHS tapes
  • Books, except for cookbooks, or “coffee table” books for the December sale only
  • Chipped or cracked dishware and glassware, ceramics, or decorative items
  • Electronics with frayed or missing wiring or parts
  • Batteries
  • TVs
  • Personal care items or cosmetics which are or open or out of date
  • Helmets
  • Food or drinks including tea bags
  • Old playpens or car seats
  • Plastic cutlery (both open and unopened)

*Gwynedd Meeting continues to honor the foundational work of AFSC starting in the late 60’s of our late member, Beth Binford, the spirit behind the sales. Through donations from Gwynedd and other sources, dedicated and hardworking volunteers strive to recycle and reuse unwanted clothes and other items to raise money for AFSC.
