Youth Quaker Education Program

Listing of Current Youth Programs

Gwynedd Friends Meeting is blessed to have an active and vibrant Youth Quaker
Education (YQE) program for our children and youth. Our religious education program
is fun, enriching and dedicated to meeting the many spiritual needs of our youth and
families. Our curriculum contains a rich blend of activities and explorations about
spiritual thoughts and ideas, Quaker testimonies, and Quaker history and include topics
that are relevant for the times in which we live. The children participate in joyful
singing, Junior Meeting for Worship, monthly service projects and classes with their
peers. Our children and youth and their families also participate in intergenerational
activities that provide an opportunity for all ages to have fun and grow spiritually
together.

Children and youth from pre-K through high school are welcome to join us for YQE on
Sundays, 9:30 - 10:45AM. The YQE program year begins on the Sunday following Labor
Day in September and closes on the Sunday following Memorial Day in May/June.
